The Wilbur Curtis Company has announced that four of its most popular commercial coffee brewing systems have earned coveted Energy Star certification.
As a result, this gives foodservice customers new options for reducing costs while driving traffic and profit with “gourmet” coffee.
Energy Star products save energy without “sacrificing” performance, helping operators control energy bills, protect the environment and attract customers by boasting “green credentials”.
The four new energy-smart products are the Curtis GemX and Gemini IntelliFresh coffee brewers, along with the ThermoPro and ThermoProX thermal coffee brewing systems.
The company said: “Amid mounting competition and often tenuous profit margins, foodservice operators of all stripes are constantly looking to reduce operating costs.
“These latest Curtis ‘Energy Star’ standouts give them great options for doing so while delivering the rich features, innovative engineering and tremendous reliability that have made Curtis a leader in the coffee world for the last 75 years.”
Since its introduction in 1980, the Gemini satellite twin brewing system has been designed to deliver the quality of urn-brewed coffee with the speed of a bottle brewer.
Curtis IntelliFresh uses AI technology to remember settings throughout its dispensing cycle – even when the satellites are placed on remote serving stands.
The Gem X combines “brains” and brilliant design elements to power a superior coffee program.
