Welbilt to host ghost kitchen webcast including Uber Eats guest

Foodservice equipment dealer Welbilt is hosting a virtual ghost kitchen event as part of its webcast series.

Ghost kitchens and food delivery have grown in importance in recent months due to the closure of sit-in eating establishments in most states.

The webcast will take place from 11:00am EST on Thursday, June 4, with the full title ‘Ghost Kitchens – Breaking the 30-minute delivery barrier’.

Guests will include Mandy Quinn, head of foodservice partnerships, Uber Eats.

There will also be speakers from Euromonitor International, Welbilt, Kitchen United and Concept Services.

Those interested can sign up at the Welbilt US website, and should download the Microsoft Teams App for desktop in advance of the event.

The website urges those who cannot watch live to register as a video download of the 90-minute event will be sent out to registered persons.
