Waring feels the love as innovative appliance serves up sales spike


Foodservice equipment manufacturer, Waring Commercial, and its selected rep group, SEFA, pushed timely sales for its Chocolate Melter.

Throughout February the companies put the spotlight on the product aiming to boost sales for Valentine’s Day.

The Waring Chocolate Melter liquefies pure chocolate for dipping, candy making or ladling over signature desserts.

The Chocolate Melter features water-resistant touch controls and an LCD digital screen which shows temperatures in Celsius and Fahrenheit.

It highlights the set temperature and the probe temperature and a ready indicator appears when the temperatures match.

The unit heats up gently and holds its temperature with no hotspots in order to provide the “perfect” temperature for ideal consistency.

The housing rim is designed to prevent chocolate from seeping under the pan and it has lid cut-outs that accommodate a ladle and probe.

The temperature ranges from 68°F/20°C to 140°F/60°C and has been designed to be easy to clean.
