Vollrath has announced it is substantially increasing its corporate giving program, as part of celebrations for its 150th anniversary.
The manufacturer is increasing its community contributions by $150,000 in 2024, its highest ever annual total.
The company has committed to maintaining this level going forward, and it will also donate a consistent percentage of pre-tax profits every year to maintain sustained support.
The anniversary was also marked by the installation of a mural on one of the company’s properties, which depicts the company’s century-spanning history.
Vollrath’s giveback initiative is designed to be employee-driven, with each location able to allocate a portion of their increased budget to causes in their local community.
Employees will also be encouraged to engage in employee volunteerism, through giving their time and skills to organizations that they are passionate about.
The company’s initiative also includes Vollrath’s scholarship program, which will continue to support local students throughout their education.
