TriMark executive vice president, Marty Monnat, is retiring from the organization after leading the South Region’s growth and success since 2003, when he joined the company’s Strategic division.
With his leadership responsibility for the company’s most expansive region, Monnat has worked tirelessly to drive profitable growth throughout multiple states, and has established trusted partnerships with major foodservice entities nationwide.
To ensure a smooth transition, Monnat will continue with TriMark through the end of February.
Following his departure, the South Region’s CFO and senior vice president of operations, Karen McCain, will step into the role as executive vice president to carry forward the growth strategies and customer relationship management.
“It has been a privilege to have worked alongside such a dedicated and gifted team, championing their many achievements and sharing in their pride for the quality that we deliver together every day,” he said.
“I want to thank all of our employees, vendor partners, and customers for their support. As Karen takes the helm, I am confident that TriMark’s South Region will continue to advance its performance, bringing meaningful value to our customers, and further its commitment to excellence within the foodservice industry.”
TriMark CEO Marie Ffolkes expressed the company’s thanks for Monnat’s inspiring leadership.
“He has had a far-reaching, positive impact on his talented team and the entire company, demonstrating his integrity, determination, and an unwavering commitment to service. Looking ahead, the leadership team at TriMark is strong and we are confident in a seamless transition,” she said.
Monnat and his wife intend to remain in Texas, where they are looking forward to the opportunity to spend more time with their family and friends.
