Travel restrictions force ITW to cancel annual investor meeting

ITW’s annual investor day has become a casualty of the coronavirus.  

The Hobart and Traulsen owner was due to hold the event on Friday 13 March but said it was having to cancel it due to recently enacted travel restrictions at a number of participating firms.

A significant percentage of attendees who registered for the event can no longer attend, ITW said.

The company plans to announce a revised date for its 2020 Investor Day and plant tour as soon as it is rescheduled.

ITW is a Fortune 200 global multi-industrial manufacturing leader with revenues totaling $14.1 billion in 2019. It employs more than 45,000 staff.
