Stoelting, a division of Vollrath, has launched its latest soft serve system, the Flavor Burst, an attachment for its soft serve machines.

The company said that the device is capable of dispensing up to eight flavors out of one spout, in a striped or blended pattern.

The Flavor Burst spout assembly installs directly onto a Stoelting freezer’s spout, while the syrup lines that create the colorful designs can be easily connected and disconnected, Stoelting said.

Operators select the flavors to dispense on a 10-inch color touch panel and then dispense from the soft serve machine handle like normal.

The system works for both traditional service and self-serve.

There are 38 flavors available for striped machines and 17 for blended machines, the company revealed.

Stored in one-gallon ready-to-install bags, the concentrated syrups have a long shelf life and do not require refrigeration, according to Stoelting, and are easy to switch out.

The product was also designed with ease of cleaning in mind.
