Starbucks has revealed a first look inside its new Reserve Roastery in Chicago, which is set to open its doors on November 15.
The new 35,000-square-foot Roastery is Starbucks sixth and largest ‘immersive coffee experience’ worldwide and will offer a range of unique food and beverage experiences including three coffee bars, a nitrogen gelato stop, a cocktail bar and a Princi artisanal bakery and café.
The new Roastery is imbued with the flavour of Chicago with a design inspired by the city itself and will employ nearly 200 people including roasters, baristas, bakers and mixologists.
Starbucks CEO, Kevin Johnson, said: “Over the past five years, we have created the ultimate immersive experience around all-things-coffee in spectacular Starbucks Reserve Roasteries in flagship cities around the world. This week we are delighted to open our doors on the sixth global Roastery in an iconic building located on Chicago’s renowned Magnificent Mile.
