Smart Care steps up kitchen repair service in Ohio

Smart Care has acquired Finley’s Facilities Services, a commercial kitchen equipment repair company based in Mt. Gilead, Ohio.

The addition of Finley’s bolsters Smart Care’s existing capabilities in Ohio and represents Smart Care’s third acquisition in the state and seventh overall since it was taken over by a firm backed by private equity outfit Wind Point earlier this year.

Finley’s is a family-owned commercial kitchen equipment repair company, offering emergency repair, preventative maintenance and installation services for cooking, refrigeration and HVAC equipment.

The company’s clients include restaurants, grocers, convenience stores and other retail foodservice providers.

Finley’s was founded in 2016 and quickly earned a reputation as a premier service provider for the repair of commercial kitchen equipment throughout Ohio.

Following the acquisition, Finley’s will join Smart Care’s Equipment Solutions business, which is based in St. Paul, Minn., and specializes in commercial kitchen equipment services.

Smart Care has developed a strong reputation for service quality supported by a high-quality technician base.

Its Equipment Solutions business serves thousands of customers spanning restaurants, grocers, convenience stores and corporate facilities across the US

“I am delighted to welcome Finley’s Facilities Services into the Smart Care organization,” stated Gyner Ozgul, president and COO of Smart Care Equipment Solutions.

“Finley’s is a premier service company in Ohio and fits well with our strategy to increase operational density and strengthen customer service capabilities. This is our third acquisition in Ohio and the combined teams will continue growing market share and exceeding customer expectations.”

Smart Care said it will continue to seek strategic acquisition opportunities, with a focus on leading commercial refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC repair and maintenance service providers throughout the US and Canada.
