Singer Equipment Company has revealed that executive vice president and COO, John Vozzo, will retire, effective December 31.
This will bring to an end over four decades of service at foodservice equipment dealer Singer.
Under his leadership, Singer has seen significant “growth and expansion”, it revealed in a LinkedIn post.
Singer president and CEO, Fred Singer, said: “John’s vision and character are imprinted into the DNA of Singer.
“He built our culture of service, excellence and partnership – with customers, vendors and coworkers alike.”
Vozzo has also served on many boards and committees across the industry during his long career.
These include the Allied Buying Corporation, Strategic Market Alliance and the Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association.
Fred Singer added: “All of us owe John a debt of gratitude for his work in building our company and developing our next generation of leaders.”
Singer Equipment Company was able to reveal that the below key departments would be taken over by the following individuals after Vozzo’s departure: Michael Greenwald, vice president of purchasing; Eric Santagato, vice president of distribution sales; Morgan Tucker, vice president of marketing; and Rich Zang, vice president of operations.
