Rational looks to increase supply of combi ovens into K-12 schools

Rational iCombi Pro

Rational has announced a new K-12 iCombi Pro promotion available to schools and districts that purchase and schedule delivery of the model by 31 December 2021.

The specific promotion allows K-12 schools and school districts to receive free CombiFry baskets and stainless-steel grids with the purchase of a new iCombi Pro combi oven.

The number of free accessories received for the promotion is based on the model size, and there’s no limit to the number of units that qualify for the promotion.

The Rational brand CombiFry baskets are used to prepare crispy French fries and tater tots without oil, making these school lunch favorites healthier for students.

The stainless steel grids are used in school kitchens to hold sheet pans or other containers. These accessories are the perfect complement to the iCombi Pro.

With the iCombi Pro combi oven, schools and districts can advance their food program by bringing time-saving technology into the kitchen.

The iCombi Pro cooks fully automatically with just the push of a button, enabling school foodservice professionals to serve tasty, healthy food without extra work, staff or expense– and it’s self-cleaning.

Rune Are, president and CFO at Rational USA, said. “For over 20 years Rational has worked hand in hand with schools and school districts across the country to provide their students with meals that meet federal requirements, maximize budgets, and increase lunch and breakfast participation.

“This promotion is one way we support schools’ foodservice mission while encouraging gains in efficiency, productivity, consistency and food quality possible with the iCombi Pro and its accessories.”
