Rational has announced that it will extend product warranties for the SelfCookingCenter and CombiMaster Plus combi steamers that expired during March, April and May of 2020 by three months.

The manufacturer offers customers a two-year warranty with the purchase of new ovens, but said it was automatically extending the warranty due to the global health crisis.

“We are proud to offer commercial kitchens best-in-class aftercare service, which includes our standard two-year warranty on parts and labor,” stated Markus Glueck, executive vice president, Rational North America.

“The pandemic has impacted every commercial kitchen, and our customers are in many different situations. As establishments navigate reopening, we are happy to support our customers by extending their warranty.”

Rational will extend warranties for the SelfCookingCenter and CombiMaster Plus for three months to cover the peak Covid-19 months across North America.

Normal wear and tear of the units, including glass and wearable parts are not covered by the warranty.
