QualServ Solutions builds capacity to serve channel partners

QualServ warehouse

QualServ Solutions International has snapped up additional warehouse space to support its growth.

The additional 272,000 square footage is located in the former Whirlpool distribution center on Jenny Lind Road in Fort Smith, AR, only a mile away from the company’s corporate office and manufacturing plant.

The added space will help consolidate warehouse locations, expand shipping and receiving capabilities and free up space at the plant for production, the company said.

The company has already added eight additional loading docks to the new facility and plans to build new offices where the shipping team will be relocated.

Michael Potter, president of QualServ, said that with space proving limited at the plant now, mitigating capacity constraints should help increase efficiency and quality.

“We are very excited about this addition and the continued growth of QualServ International. This warehouse space will allow us to better serve our restaurant customers and channel partners. I’m looking forward to the future.”

The Middleby-owned company said it had been “diligent” since the Covid-19 pandemic, which was a time when many restaurant chains decided to undergo remodels while dine-in options were unavailable.

QualServ continues with new product development initiatives to combat the virus, such as Bluezone technology, which provides air purification solutions to restaurants.
