Parts Town will tomorrow play host to the Commercial Foodservice Equipment Service Association (CFESA) region 2 meeting.
The event will take place at the headquarters of the Illinois-based spare parts supplier, beginning at 8am, and will feature talks and Q&A sessions with a range of industry experts.
Speakers include Jennifer Davis of Davisware who will be talking about interruptive technology for foodservice equipment service and Rich Malachy, the founder of the Facebook group Food Equipment Digital Disruptors, who will focus on using social media to improve visibility of the foodservice industry.
Also appearing at the event are John Schwindt of Hawkins Commercial Appliance Repair, who will be sharing the soft skills he prizes in foodservice technicians, and Chelsea Fitzpatrick and Sam Dandridge of PT Holdings who will give a presentation on culture, hiring and retention in the industry.
There will also be a panel discussion featuring Dennis Wendt of Henny Penny, Jim Johnson of Accurex, and TJ Coker of CSI Coker Service Inc., while guests will be given the opportunity to tour the Parts Town premises at the end of the meeting.
