Parts Town is celebrating being placed on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list, for the 11th successive year.
The leading spare parts distributor ranked 2,165th on the list, earning its spot thanks to its exceptional growth rate of 194% from 2015 to 2018.
The honor recognizes the country’s fastest-growing, privately held, for-profit companies based on recent percentage revenue growth.
Parts Town boasts 15 consecutive years of greater than 20% organic growth, and reported $550 million in revenue in 2018, a 40% increase in one year and an 558% increase since 2013.
Since earning its 10th consecutive placement on last year’s list, Parts Town has continued an upward trajectory of growth fuelled by: expansion in European market with new logistics center in Dusseldorf, Germany; introduction of Serial Number Lookup in January 2019, doubling the number of participating manufacturer partnerships since launch’ expansion into HVAC industry through partnership with York; and surpassing 600 team members in Chicago along with more than 1,800 worldwide.
Steve Snower, the firm’s CEO, said: “Our 11th consecutive placement on the Inc. 5000 list gives us pride as a Chicago-based company as well as further inspiration to continue to grow and innovate in our industry and in our community.”
“Our team at Parts Town prioritizes a commitment to actively focus on doing things the right way, not the easy way. It’s this passion from the team that allows us to continue to innovate and drive growth to receive this type of recognition.”
Restaurant supply company KaTom Restaurant Supply also celebrated 11 consecutive years on the list, placed 2,866.
Speaking on Instagram, the firm’s CEO and President, Patricia Bible, described the company’s placement on the list as “an honor.”
