The NAFEM Show – due to take place later this month after being rescheduled from its original February date – has been cancelled.
It was set to take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on 26-28 August.
Word that the exhibition will no longer go ahead as planned began to spread among suppliers and exhibitors this morning.
And both the NAFEM and NAFEM Show websites have now confirmed that the show has been cancelled and said further details would follow.
In the meantime, organizers have urged anybody who booked a hotel room through onPeak not to call them and said that all reservations had been cancelled automatically.
Organizers were expecting more than 10,000 professionals to attend this year’s show, around 50% of the number it typically attracted before Covid.
Enhanced Covid safety measures were due to be in place at the event, according to its website.
