The National Restaurant Association has announced that it has launched a new podcast which aims to provide assistance to fast-casual operators in the midst of a changing industry.
A statement released by the NRA says that Fast Casual Insider will help operators “understand and navigate the big changes affecting today’s restaurant industry.”
It focuses on the advice, best practices and experiences of industry experts Geoff Alexander of Lettuce Entertain You’s Wow Bao chain, Firehouse Subs’ Don Fox, LJR Hospitality Group’s Larry Reinstein, David Jones of Blazing Onion Restaurant Group, and Urban Farmhouse’s Kathleen Richardson, among others.
Each guest addresses an important issue, such as raising capital for your concept, dealing with delivery innovation, and how technology is impacting the industry.
Speaking about the podcast and the changes that are taking place in the industry, Alexander said, “There’s no getting away from it; you either have to embrace it or don’t do it.”
The podcast will be hosted by Jerry White, the associate publisher of Plate magazine and will run for ten episodes, with questions asked about business growth and critical labor issues, like recruitment and retention.
The podcast is available on the NRA’s website, as well as Spotify, Google Podcasts and Apple Podcasts.
