NRA announces MIT lecturer as keynote speaker for Restaurant Innovation Summit


The National Restaurant Association (NRA) has announced that MIT innovation visionary David Robertson will be a keynote speaker at its upcoming Restaurant Innovation Summit in November.

Robertson is a senior lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management, and has taught innovation and product development in undergraduate, MBA, and executive education programs at a variety of leading academic institutions.

The conference will also set aside a half-day workshop on design thinking, headed by ExperienceInnovation, in collaboration with IDEO (a leading design thinking consultancy).

The aim of the conference, which takes place from November 5-6 in Cleveland, Ohio, is to ensure that restaurant companies are learning how to innovate.

It is billed as “a one-of-a-kind gathering convening the most innovative and forward-looking thinkers within the restaurant industry” and promises “deep and actionable insights for solving tomorrow’s challenges today.”

The conference features keynote speakers, panels, and immersive workshops as well as plenty of opportunities for networking.

It is aimed at “thinkers, leaders and doers” in the restaurant industry.
