New York City will be home to a new ghost kitchen concept later this month, with Zuul Kitchens preparing to begin operations in the city.
Zuul is the latest in a string of companies, including Kitchen United, aiming to take advantage of the growth of the delivery industry by setting up kitchen facilities that can be rented by operators for delivery-only food preparation.
Amongst the chains due to set up shop at the Zuul facility are Sweetgreen, the Asian chain Junzi and Lebanese outlet Naya.
The business will be located at 30 Vandam Street, and is billing itself as “a place for ghost kitchens to call home.”
Firms interested in using the facilities can fill in a form on Zuul’s website to be added to a waiting list.
