Hygiene technology specialist Meritech has announced the appointment of David Duran as its new CEO, replacing the outgoing Jim Glenn.
Duran joins the firm after accruing an array of experience in various leadership roles, most recently as Vice President and General Manager at Checkers Safety Group.
He spoke of his appointment as “an honor and a privilege” and claimed he was inspired by Meritech’s innovative hygiene technology and its potential applications.
He said: “I am confident Meritech Systems will play a significant role in ensuring the health and safety of not only our foodservice and medical practitioners, but ultimately all members of the general public.”
Joel Pokerney, Board Director at Meritech praised Duran’s experience, leadership skills and business sense, claiming that the appointment would enable the firm to thrive.
He concluded: “He’s created significant revenue growth among multiple organizations and I’m excited to have an executive of his caliber at the helm during this pivotal stage of Meritech’s growth.”
Meritech hygiene products, which include a complete line of fully-automated hand washing, boot scrubbing, and footwear sanitizing equipment are used in a wide variety of markets, including foodservice and food production.
