The North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) has announced the rescheduling of its 2021 show.
The NAFEM Show 2021 was originally set to take place in February, but the organizers have agreed that postponing it is the only way to do justice to the event.
The biennial tradeshow features the latest innovations in food preparation, cooking, serving and table service, refrigeration, storage, furnishing and warewashing.
It will now take place in August 2021, over six months after its original date.
It will also be held at a new venue: the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, August 26-28.
Announcements regarding exhibit space selection, attendee registration and educational opportunities offered throughout the show will be made in early February 2021.
NAFEM president Rob Connelly of Henny Penny commented: “As NAFEM’s board of directors considered the business issues arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, and evaluated information currently available against the time needed to host a successful show, it was agreed conducting The NAFEM Show in February 2021 would not do justice to our members, attendees, industry and NAFEM.
“A successful show will be critically important for our industry as we recover from the effects of coronavirus and return to doing business.”
