NAFEM 19 kicked off the year by breaking its record for attendees, exhibitors and the most exhibit space in its history.
Following the show, NAFEM has released an infographic to outline the in-depth record breaking stats for this year’s show as it prepares for its return in 2021.
643 exhibitors were on show across the 378,722 sq ft of exhibiting space and of the 22,000+ registrants, over 9,000 were exhibitor attendees, around 4600 were dealers or distributors, 3,402 were operators and just over 900 were consultants.
Over 5,000 of the new applicants had attended for the first time and came from across the US.
The highest represented state was Florida (4,050), followed by Illinios (1,863), California (1,584), Texas (1,230) and Ohio (1,094).
The local economy also benefitted, attendees booked out 21,164 rooms at 31 hotels over the three days while at the show over $270,000 was spent on concessions like food and drink.
Next time, NAFEM is headed to New Orleans at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center betweek Feb 4 and Feb 6.
