Middleby Ventless Solutions has named Scott Heim, the president of EVO America, as its new president.
Heim has been working with Evo, which was acquired by Middleby at the end of last year, since 2012, and under his leadership the company was named one of Oregon’s 100 fastest-growing private companies for three consecutive years.
In his new role, Heim will take charge of Middleby’s commercial brands with ventless cooking solutions, with his duties including marketing, new product development and approvals.
Middleby’s CEO, Tim FitzGerald, said: ““Scott is a leading industry authority on ventless commercial kitchen solutions. He has educated many on how to offer high-quality, commercial cooking in non-traditional locations, which is becoming more and more common.
“Since Scott joined Middleby last year through the acquisition of Evo, he has been working with many of our customers on a variety of ventless concepts across all of our brands, while also incorporating QualServ manufacturing for the kitchen build when appropriate.
“This is a growing trend in our industry and we are excited Scott will be leading this charge.”
In addition to his new role, Heim will also retain his current position as president of EVO America.
Middleby ventless equipment includes product from Evo, TurboChef, Blodgett, PerfectFry, Wells, CookTek and others
