Middleby names boss for new coffee equipment division as it steps up beverage focus


Middleby Coffee Solutions Group has named Erika Cottrell its new general manager, the company has announced.

Cottrell will oversee Middleby’s coffee brands Concordia Beverage Systems, Synesso and Bloomfield.

Based in the Pacific Northwest, her responsibilities will include sales, strategy and day-to-day operations.

She joins from the Consumer Foods Division for The J. M. Smucker Company, where she was vice president of marketing.

With the formation of the Middleby Coffee Solutions Group, Robin Mooney has been promoted to executive vice president, meanwhile.

She will lead the domestic sales efforts for the three brands in the group.

Prior to taking on this larger company role, she was general manager of Concordia.

Sarah Palmer will also expand her responsibilities, being named vice president of international sales for the Middleby Coffee Solutions Group.

Previously she was director of global sales and marketing at Synesso.
