Middleby deepens beverage offer by snapping up vendor with $40m revenues

The Middleby Corporation has snapped up Deutsche Beverage Technology, a leader in beverage brewing and processing systems.

Based in Charlotte, N.C., the company boasts $40m in annual revenues.

“Deutsche is a technology leader in beverage and liquid processing, offering a wide variety of advanced solutions for beer, cold brew coffee, kombucha and other liquid extraction applications,” said Tim FitzGerald, CEO of The Middleby Corporation.

“Being well-positioned in fast growing markets and emerging segments, Deutsche has differentiated technology with highly engineered products.”

The company is highly complementary to Ss Brewtech, which Middleby acquired in June.

It is now in a position to accelerate product development and leverage the sales capabilities of both brands, according to FitzGerald.

“Our commitment remains to strategically expand the Middleby beverage offerings, as operators continue to have great interest in new products and solutions for their high-margin beverage programs,” he said.
