Middleby has signalled its intent it grow its global coffee equipment business with a key executive appointment.
Luciano Delpozzo has been named as president of the Middleby Coffee Solutions Group, which features brands such as Concordia, Synesso, JoeTap and Bloomfield.
He will be based in the Seattle area where the brands are headquartered.
Mr. Delpozzo previously held leadership positions at Unox, Franke, and Esmach-Bongard, part of the Ali Group.
In these previous roles within the foodservice industry, he was able to grow business through the addition of new geographic markets, the launch of innovative products and by delivering operational excellence.
At Franke, he built his expertise in the automated coffee market and worked with large chain customers.
Mr. Delpozzo has a deep understanding of the European and North American coffee landscape including consumer habits, equipment manufacturers and roasters.
