Marcone Commercial Kitchen has appointed Crystal Van Velkinburgh as its new sales leader for the North Atlantic region.
As North Atlantic regional sales director, Van Velkinburgh will oversee East Coast operations and continue to facilitate rapid growth of the company’s Commercial Kitchen vertical.
Van Velkinburgh brings considerable industry experience to the role, having previously worked as director of sales at beverage dispenser manufacturer Lancer Worldwide.
She also served as director of the Supply Chain Center of Excellence at Electrolux, and has also managed a $200 million product category for a private equity firm.
Of her appointment, Van Velkinburgh said: “I’m excited to put my skills to work here at Marcone, where we share a commitment to service excellence and a customer-first mentality.
“There’s no doubt Marcone has changed the commercial kitchen repair industry since it entered the marketplace two years ago, so the opportunity to join such a dynamic and forward-thinking group allows me to make a meaningful contribution with this next stage of my career.”
Van Velkinburgh will manage OEM parts distribution to independent service agents along the Eastern Seabord, from the Carolinas through to Maine.

Marcone Group has seen recent expansion through nine acquisitions in the HVAC, plumbing and pool and spa sectors since Genstar Capital purchased it in 2021.
In 2022, the group launched its commercial kitchen parts business, and now has nearly 200 branch locations that facilitate next-day delivery to 93% of US customers and two-day delivery to 100%.
