EC Fans & Drives has introduced a series of new high-temperature metal axial fans in response to the thermal demands of the foodservice sector.
The Epec Company outfit has spent months analyzing, designing and testing a high-temperature fan that has a maximum operating temperature of 85°C versus the traditional 60°C that most axial fans operate under.
“Our customers were continually asking us to provide a product that can operate at elevated temperatures,” explained Martyn Powell, director of engineering at EC Fans & Drives.
“With this series of fans, we can now offer our customers over 10 different sizes, which we can customize to fit any application.”
EC Fans & Drives leads the industry in providing vertically integrated services, from design to manufacturing of EC motors, along with providing customized final products or fan packs that will be a drop-in replacement for any application.
These high-temperature fans have been manufactured at a factory in Taiwan for the last 10 years with more than one million units in service, providing customers with added assurance about quality and reliability.
Epec is one of the fastest growing high technology electronics companies in North America, designing and manufacturing printed circuit boards, custom battery packs, user interfaces, RF products, cable assemblies and flexible heaters for OEMs around the world.
