LSI Industires granted lease that paves way for sale of New Windsor facility

LSI Industries Inc., a leading manufacturer of outdoor and indoor lighting and graphics that supplies many restaurants and fast food chains, has announced that a restated ground lease has been approved for its New Windsor facility.

With the Town’ of New Windsor’s approval, the company can now proceed with its transaction to sell the facility to new owners.

The firm, based in Cincinnati, announced that the facility was to be closed in November 2018, with 136 staff members laid off as a result.

LSI’s president and CEO, Jim Clark said: “Congratulations are in order for the Town of New Windsor for its approval of the ground lease, which clears the way for a new owner to offer quality jobs in an otherwise dormant commercial space.

“We’re thrilled to be close to completing this transaction.”

The firm also recently announced the appointment of Thomas A. Caneris as its senior vice president of human resources and general counsel.

Mr. Caneris brings more than 30 years of experience as a practicing attorney and senior advisor in both public and private company settings, most recently having served as senior vice president and general counsel for PharMerica Corporation from 2007 through 2019.

Spreaking about the appointment, Clark said: “We are pleased to have Tom join our senior leadership team and look forward to deepening our bench as we position LSI for its next phase of growth.

“As a seasoned general counsel, his experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance and human resources equip him to become a valued asset to our organization.”
