Kitchen United has signed lease agreements for kitchen centers in Austin, Texas, and Scottsdale, Arizona, to provide surrounding foodservice providers with commercial kitchen renting opportunities.
Kitchen United provides its restaurants with consumer and operational insights so they can do their best to meet local demand, improve their efficiency and drive revenue growth.
Hospitality Technology reported that the company’s new locations are expected to open in the third quarter of 2019 as part of the company’s national expansion plans.
Kitchen United plans to open 15 kitchen centers throughout the course of the year in areas including Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver and New York City.
Kitchen United currently operates locations in Pasadena, California and Chicago, and recently announced new lease agreements in Atlanta and Columbus, Ohio.
The Austin kitchen center will be in one of the most densely populated inner areas of the city and will support between 10-15 restaurant partners, says the trade magazine.
Located at 8023 Burnet Road and positioned on a major road leading out of downtown and the University of Texas, the location is prime for consumers who are actively seeking out takeout and delivery options, with it being a redeveloping area that has become increasingly popular with college graduates.
Additionally, that the Scottsdale kitchen site, at 1727 E Shea Blvd, is located in a well-situated plaza center and is close to several hotels, resorts and hospitals.
Hospitality Technology added that the premise will also have significant access and visibility for Kitchen United’s restaurant partners, as well as third-party delivery services and customers.
