Kitchen equipment maker Nieco strengthens sales and marketing leadership

Nieco has hired equipment industry veteran Guido Nava as its new vice president of sales and marketing.

Nava will lead and direct the day-to-day operations of domestic and international sales and business development for the brand, reporting directly to Nieco president Jaime Nau.

“Guido’s passion for providing a gold standard customer experience makes him a perfect fit for an organization like ours where our business is built on our dedication to our long-standing customers,” said Nau.

Nava joins Nieco with over two decades of experience in the foodservice industry.

He brings extensive expertise in all aspects of sales and account management, marketing, strategic planning and leadership.

He began his career as an area manager for a multi-national spa brand, where he increased revenue by an impressive 360%, before going onto work for the Cornelius Family of Food & Beverages for over 12 years, in a variety of positions of increased responsibility.

Nava joins Nieco from Global RBI brands, where he has served as director of business development for the past four years.

Nieco has been designing and hand-building innovative automatic kitchen equipment in Northern California for more than 50 years, when the first automatic broiler was installed in Disneyland’s iconic Tomorrowland Terrace.

Since then, it has built and sold more than 85,000 broilers around the world.
