Blast chiller and shock freezer manufacturer Irinox North America has appointed a new regional sales manager.
Robert Bratton will take on the sales role but will also serve as corporate head chef for Irinox’s Northeast US and Eastern Canada sectors.
His previous cheffing experience serves him well for his new venture at Irinox, as he held former positions at a variety of restaurant concepts and a regional sales managerial position at Rational.
Bratton also earned a culinary arts degree from The Culinary Institute of America.
Irinox recently sponsored the Italian team at the World Cup of Pastry in Lyon where participants entered three chefs each, with the aim to gather new ideas for the pastry industry.
Irinox said: “The World Cup of Pastry aims to assess the professional capacity of the participants, to demonstrate to a large audience, through practice, the evolution and progress made, to provide new ideas on pastry and to stimulate young people sector.”
