IN FOCUS: UltraVent Plus by Rational

UltraVent Plus by Rational, has been named as one of The National Restaurant Association’s top 25 Kitchen Innovations for 2019.

With the recirculating ventless hood market heating up, Rational has come up with the UltraVent Plus.

The range of accessories for the smallest Rational combi-steamer, the SelfCookingCenter XS, expanded in August 2017 with the Ultravent Plus condensation hood.

The SelfCookingCenter XS in combination with the specially developed UltraVent Plus XS for front cooking areas does not allow any unpleasant smells through.

The UltraVent Plus incorporates filter technology and requires no catalytic converter for grilling and roasting operations.

The model comes in a configuration that can be retrofitted to Rational Combi-Duo stacked electric countertop combis.

It is available for unit sizes XS Mod. 6 ⅔, meaning that even grilling and pan frying in the front cooking area is possible without the inconvenient steam or air impurities.

The Ultravent Plus is also equipped with technology that filters and directly dissipates the steam and impure air and the company claims that using an UltraVent completely eliminates the costs of complex ventilation systems.

The Rational UltraVent Plus also monitors the soiling level of the filters and signals the need to replace them, meaning that users see meals prepared in front of them without food odours.

The company explains that not only is the product suitable for customer sections of restaurants, but also in supermarkets and petrol stations.
