Imperial Dade makes latest acquisition to push into Southern Californian market

Imperial Dade has announced a deal that sees it take over The Paper Company, Inc.

The firm, a disposable foodservice supplies distributor, has now made 23 acquisitions under the leadership of Robert and Jason Tillis, CEO and President of Imperial Dade, respectively.

The latest deal, for which financial terms were not disclosed, will see it gain a presence in the Southern California market.

Robert Tillis said: “The Paper Company’s commitment to its customers and partners, along with its family operated culture, makes the business a great addition to the Imperial Dade platform.

Jason Tillis added: “This acquisition is the next step in our ability to serve customers coast to coast as a national distributor.

Headquartered in Irvine, CA, and founded in 1982 by Mike and Jody Madden, The Paper Company is a family owned and operated wholesale distribution business serving Southern California.

Its products include environmentally-friendly paper plates and takeaway boxes, as well as cutlery, trays and paper doilies.
