Ice machine subscription firm expands across the US

Ice machine subscription specialist Easy Ice said it has funds designated for further purchases after Biltmore Refrigeration became the latest brand to join its stable.

The acquisition of Chicago-based Biltmore is the latest in a series of initiatives that have facilitated significant growth for Easy Ice over recent years.

“Our continued investments in technological solutions, customer support systems, and training protocols have enabled us to provide excellent service to Biltmore customers.”

Since its inception in 2009, Easy Ice has achieved notable expansion through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions.

It said it would seek to continue on this trajectory by targeting ice machine leasing companies with “standards of excellence, culture and organizational directives” that align with its own brand.

Easy Ice has increased its number of ice machines under management to nearly 30,000 units across 47 states.

Other recent developments include the acquisition of the leasing division of Johnson Mechanical in Peoria, Illinois, the leasing division of Brooks Industries in Oklahoma City, OK, a new refurbishment facility in Lenexa, KS, and multiple executive-level hires.

Easy Ice has offices in Phoenix, AZ and Marquette, MI, and warehouse and distribution facilities in Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City and Orlando.
