‘I am honored to follow a truly transformative CEO’ – New TriMark boss on replacing dealer legend Jerry Hyman

Marie Ffolkes

Marie Ffolkes has paid tribute to the groundwork laid by her predecessor Jerry Hyman as she prepares to take over the reins at TriMark later this month.

Ffolks will officially take charge as CEO of the USA’s largest provider of foodservice design services, equipment and supplies on 29 January, with Hyman assuming the role of chairman and retaining his place on the board of directors.

And looking ahead to the new role, she said she was excited about following in the footsteps of one of the industry’s great leaders. During his nearly four decades of leadership at TriMark, he has grown the company’s sales from $50m to over $2bn.

“I am honored that the TriMark Board of Directors chose me to follow a truly transformative CEO, Jerry Hyman, who has led the company’s talented team with such remarkable dedication and innovation,” she said.

“I am inspired by the opportunity in front of us to capitalize on TriMark’s disciplined approach to value creation, further building the sales channels and maximizing brand equity.

“We will continue to focus on delivering excellence every day for our customers, employees, suppliers, and all other stakeholders.”

Ffolkes is a well-respected leader with 25 years of professional experience within global industries. Since 2015, she has served as president, Americas for Air Products, driving strategy implementation and operational profitability.

Prior to that, she held senior positions at Tenneco, an international R&D and manufacturing company, and Johnson Controls, a technologies leader with customers worldwide.

She started her career at General Electric Corporation. Marie is a graduate of City University of New York and of Columbia Business School.
Hyman has backed Ffolkes to provide valuable contributions to TriMark’s current strategic initiatives, setting the stage for further progression of its services and solutions.

“Her expertise in operations, finance, and enterprise ventures will play a critical role in our ongoing effort to develop cutting-edge capabilities by pressing multiple performance levers,” he insisted. “In tandem with TriMark’s exceptional leaders and team members, Ms. Ffolkes will bring fresh perspective and vision to extend market reach and continue efforts to modernize systems and technologies for an optimal customer experience across all foodservice sectors.”
