HostMilano’s international roadshow is hoping to create a global foodservice equipment industry, with its latest stop in Canada a great success.
The biennial exhibition’s home event at the Fiera Milano exhibition centre, next set to take place in October 2021, already has 821 registered attendee companies, 371 of whom are international organisations.
This, the show says, is a testament to the growing global network that is the foodservice industry.
HostMilano is hoping to foster and increase the ever-more international scale of the industry with its roadshow events.
Off the back of a recent Dubai event, it has now stopped in Canada, which HostMilan reports is a booming foodservice market having doubled in size in recent years.
This event is in collaboration with Restaurants Canada, the biggest Canadian out-of-home association with over 30,000 members.
Furthermore HostMilano predicted that the out-of-home sector will be worth more than 100 billion Canadian dollars by next year.
It also said that Instagram, green issues and home deliveries are among current Canadian food trends.
