HOST PREVIEW: Warewashing sector sparkles with improved machines

Host Warewashing

Meiko will be unveiling its ‘Five Stars for You’ concept at HOST, highlighting how its latest technology sets the standard for quality warewashing (Pavilion 7, Stand A29 A37 C30 C38). The concept is based around five key themes vital to any kitchen: sparkling, spot-free wash results; premium quality; ergonomics; efficient planning; and food waste innovation.

At HOST, Meiko’s ‘Green Solutions’ division will be demonstrating the new ‘BioMaster’, an integrated food waste handling solution that is designed to work with the kitchen to minimise the labour involved in handling food waste, while helping deliver a sustainable end-result for operators.

A team of experts from Wexiödisk will be on hand to show, inform and advise visitors on the full range of products in its portfolio, including potwashers, trolley washers, flight-type dishwashers and rack conveyors (Pavilion 7, Stand L29 M30).

A centrepiece of the Winterhalter stand will be the new UC Masterpiece undercounter warewasher (Pavilion 5, Stand D11). It is not only the most energy and water efficient appliance that the Germany-based brand has produced in that class, but it incorporates added functionality and the company’s upgraded Connected Wash technology as standard.

Winterhalter will also be presenting the company’s latest PT passthrough dishwashers, MT conveyor systems and UF utensil washers at the show.

Visitors to this year’s HOST will be shown the IKLOUD, Krupps’ first ever WiFi control system enabling the remote management of warewashers (Pavilion 7, Stand E30 E38).The set-up makes life easier for both users and technicians by providing an instant notification service that can ensure rapid remote interventions.
