Hoshizaki acquires US distributor for south-east

Acquired business will be integrated into Orlando-based distribution center

Hoshizaki Corporation has acquired Cannon Marketing Inc. (CMI), a long-established distributor in the South-eastern US.

CMI has operated in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Eastern Tennessee for over 30 years.

Its primary locations are in Kinston, NC and Nashville, TN.

The acquisition came into effect earlier this month, and will see the business be integrated into Hoshizaki’s South-eastern distribution center, based in Orlando, Florida.

Hoshizaki aims to expand its market share in commercial refrigeration and ice machines with the acquisition.

Allan Dziwoki, president of Hoshizaki America Inc, said: “This marks an important milestone as we continue to strengthen our ability to serve the market with the quality, reliability, and service expected from Hoshizaki.

“At its core, this acquisition is about growth and alignment, allowing us to enhance our supply chain, streamline operations, and provide even greater value to our customers and partners.”

Hoshizaki America is headquartered in Peachtree City, Georgia, and has a second manufacturing facility in Griffin, Georgia.

The group employs over 900 people across the US.
