Foodservice equipment manufacturer Hobart has released a new weighing scale in its HT Scale range.
The new HTm scale promises advanced built-in diagnostics and auto-level compensation, which Hobart believes can save retailers thousands of dollars in lost revenue.
“Retail scales are used every day at grocery counters, and it is imperative that these machines function properly and weigh accurately to minimize error and optimize the revenue stream,” said Hobart product line manager of Weigh Wrap, Sheila Campbell.
“There are many factors that can cause a scale to become out-of-level from accidental bumps to failure to adjust over time.
“When a scale is out-of-level, it under weighs and is costing that retailer thousands of dollars in lost revenue.
“With ValueMax auto-level compensation, retailers are assured that product is measured and priced correctly every time, optimizing revenue.
“We are helping our customers benefit by fixing a problem many didn’t even know they had.
“The HTm scale combines features and quality you expect from trusted Hobart products and its advanced technology increases revenue and decreases shrink.”
Designed and assembled in the United States, HTm scales weigh, automatically compute a price from stored PLU’s, and print a label.
The new HTm scales provide an industry benchmark, Hobart said, for accuracy and reliability, with advanced features like ValueMax and an on-demand dual-core processor.
