Hobart to maintain operations during coronavirus pandemic with health and safety ‘first priority’

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, manufacturer Hobart has announced its intentions, as an ‘essential business’, to carry on operations.

The company assured customers in a statement: “Our first priority is the health and safety of our employees and their families, our customers, and the communities in which we operate.”

Going into more specifics, it continued: “We are following the guidance issued by the CDC as well as the state and local governments.

“We have encouraged employees who are able to work from home to do so. For those who cannot work remotely, we have implemented work practices according to CDC recommendations.

“This includes, but is not limited to, separating staff by off-setting shift hours or days and/or social distancing.”

Hobart adds that customers should expect more updates in the coming weeks, concluding: “Thank you for your understanding and support during these difficult times. Stay Safe. Stay Healthy.”
