Commercial foodservice equipment manufacturer, Henny Penny, has appointed Nikki Heaton as its newest corporate chef.
In her new role, Heaton will be responsible for delivering high-quality culinary experiences to the firm’s customer and partner visits.
Alongside this, she will be accountable for technical training visits and various training for distributor networks out of Henny Penny’s Eaton, Ohio, headquarters.
Heaton’s background includes working in corporate dining, college and university foodservice as well as hospitality.
Previous to this, she worked at the Michelin North America headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina, where she prepared meals for staff and customers.
Earlier this month, Catering Insight USA reported that the firm had commended UK-based Jestic Foodservice Equipment for achieving the largest sales volume of its products from the Henny Penny’s pool of distributors across the globe.
The Ohio-based food equipment company awarded Jestic with the ‘Highest Total Sales – Worldwide’ accolade at a Distributor Achievement Awards dinner during NAFEM in February.
Jestic beat off competition from Henny Penny’s 125 worldwide distributors to claim the top spot, with general market sales of Henny Penny items up more than 14% compared to the previous year.
