Globe Food Equipment Company appoint new Vice President

Globe Food Equipment Company, a subsidiary of The Middleby Corporation, has appointed Dan Farmer as its new vice president of sales and marketing.

Farmer joins the firm after leaving his post as general manager of CookTek at TurboChef Technologies, Inc.

The role will include increasing the company’s worldwide sales, managing channel relationships, and overseeing all sales and marketing operations for the company.

With over 20 years’ experience in the foodservice industry, including 11 in the commercial kitchen equipment service industry, Farmer’s previous roles include US director of sales and brand manager for Perfect Fry and director of business development at Commercial Parts & Service.

Globe’s president, Kevin Woods said: “Dan’s experience will be an asset to Globe. His numerous relationships within the channel and our sales organization will allow him to hit the ground running. I am excited by his energy and passion, and know he will easily assimilate with Globe’s culture.”

Globe’s line of products include mixers and slicers, meat choppers, weighing systems, and gas and electric cooking equipment, with the firm claiming to “provide exceptional foodservice equipment and unparalleled support.”
