This year’s annual meeting of the International Association for Food Protection will take place later this month, from July 21-24.
The meeting will be held in Louisville, Kentucky, and will provide attendees with information on current and emerging food safety issues, the latest science, and innovative solutions to new and recurring problems.
The event will also give guests the opportunity to network with thousands of food safety professionals from throughout the world.
The meeting has grown over the years and is now considered to be the leading food safety conference worldwide, attended by more than 3,600 of the top industry, academic and governmental food safety professionals from six continents.
The program includes roundtables, workshops, lectures, symposia and special events.
There will also be a number of leading experts speaking on a variety of timely topics and and special recognition of outstanding professionals and students for their contributions in the food safety field.
Roundtable discussions at the event will include: “Cultural Influences on Food Safety Research and Education Programs in a Global Society,”; “Food Workers – Technology Approaches and Other Interventions for Keeping Sick People Out of the Operation,” and “Is It Time for Food Safety Performance Standards Since Zero Risk is Not an Option?”
There is also a lengthy list of exhibitors, with well over 100 companies signed up, including PathSpot, 3M food safety and Procter & Gamble professional.
