Cookshack responds to market feedback with pizza oven relaunch

Cookshack Inc has reintroduced its first wood burning, pellet fired pizza oven following requests from customers.

Last year, the commercial smoker oven specialist released its first pizza oven, only to be surprised by the number of similar customer requests.

It has come up with the Cookshack PZ400, which it believes is everything a restaurant owner would want when considering an expanded menu.

Cookshack has managed to create a pizza oven with significant advances in convenience, consistency and temperature control with the updated controller.

The new door and opening into the oven have been expanded for a more versatile unit. A handcrafted pizza cooked over real wood and smoke can still be cooked in just 3 minutes without having to turn the pizza or manage a fire.

Temperatures on the PZ400 range from 170-900°F meaning this oven is not limited to pizza alone. Pellets made from real wood give authentic flavor to almost anything you can fit in the door.

One of the primary benefits of the Cookshack Pizza Oven is its size. With the PZ400, there is no need to remodel an entire kitchen to add gourmet pizza since it can be installed under a standard commercial hood.

Cookshack manufactures commercial and residential smoker ovens, pellet grills and charbroilers in its Ponca City, Okla., manufacturing facility and headquarters.
