The National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) annual national conference got underway last night with pre-conference sessions and tours.
The show, which is based in Denver, Colorado and runs until Saturday, sees leading figures in the higher education foodservice industry come together for a series of learning sessions and keynote lectures.
Alongside traditional 60 minute sessions, the conference will play host to a programme of 30 minute flash sessions, which the organisers say are “quick-paced informative and meaningful.”
One of the most notable parts of the conference, is Showcase 2019, which is taking place on Thursday and Friday and brings institutional and industry members together for an inside look at unique products and services.
A number of major foodservice equipment manufacturers from across the country are attending the event and will be exhibiting their products, including Alto-Shaam, Ali Group, Clark Foodservice Equipment, Hobart Food Equipment Group, Lakeside Manufacturing, Parts Town and the Vollrath Company.
NACUFS has supported the college and university foodservice market since 1958 by providing members with the programs and resources they need to excel, from benchmarking and best practices to educational programming and professional networking.
The NACUFS institution members span across the U.S. and Canada who partner with industry members from the food, equipment, and consulting market segments.
