Commercial Food Equipment Service Association (CFESA) has announced that candidates can now apply for its 2019-2020 scholarship programme.
The association is seeking those who are looking to pursue a career in the food equipment service industry to compete for the $2,500 scholarship places.
Up to three scholarships will be awarded to the best applications alongside a personal coaching session with author and motivational speaker Bryan Dodge.
Applicants must be over 18, have a high school diploma / or equivalent and must be interested in pursuing a technical career in the foodservice industry.
The company said that successful candidates will be ‘highly motivated, customer service driven and exhibit initiative and leadership qualities’.
Applicants are required to answer two essay questions which can be found on the CFESA Cares Scholarship Application page. The organisation will accept answers in written format or by video.
CFESA urges applicants who are submitting a video to first upload the content to social media, on YouTube or cloud service such as Dropbox, and then include a shareable link in the application.
Applications must be received before the deadline of June 28, 2019, and the winners will be announced during the September 2019 CFESA conference in Washington.
The CFESA represents hundreds of the industry’s service agents, manufacturers, and industry-affiliated companies.
