Catersource announces industry powerhouses as opening session speakers

Catersource, a trade show event for the foodservice industry, has announced its full lineup of keynote speakers for this weekend’s event.

The trade show will take place in New Orleans on February 24-27, 2019, and will allow foodservice equipment manufacturers to display their latest innovations.

Opening session speakers include Paul Saginaw, co-founder and CSO of Zingerman’s community of business, who will kick off the conference with his presentation, ‘A view from above: The concept of open book management and workplace culture’.

In his presentation, Saginaw will discuss financial management and its impact on the Zingerman’s community of businesses.

Erle Dardick, CEO and founder of Monkey Group, will also be featured in the lineup.

Dardick is known for his expertise in helping multi-unit restaurants create successful catering channel revenues.

His presentation, ‘Future vision: The off-premise paradigm shift’, will discuss how on-demand technology and third party delivery services are impacting the “ever-changing” foodservice industry.

Sean Sherman, the founder of The Sioux Chef, who has raised awareness for indigenous foods systems within a modern culinary context, will also be holding a talk.

Sherman’s presentation, ‘Ancestral experiences and idigenous flavors: Native american cooking, will examine the lack of Native American restaurants in the United States and highlight how important it is to make indigenous culinary more accessible.
