Foodservice equipment manufacturer, Cambro Manufacturing, has declared that it often receives questions regarding its popular heated pan carrier.
To clear up any queries on the UPCH400 Heated Pan Carriers, the company has shared more information on the product.
The Cambro UPCH400110 Ultra Pan Carrier heated holding pan carrier has been designed to extend hot food holding time with the aim of ensuring a higher level of food safety.
The heated pan carrier is most suited to operations where food is needed to be held for more than four hours or if operators need to frequently access food.
Cambro’s H-Series (Heated-Series) have upgraded the firm’s original insulated carriers by adding energy-efficient heaters to the doors to ensuring food stays hot and safe for longer.
The company said: “The Cambro UPCH400 Ultra pan carrier heated holding pan carrier is packed with convenient, user- friendly features that make it an economical alternative to large, expensive warming cabinets.
“It’s an energy-saver too – when plugged in, it uses less energy than three 100 watt light bulbs.”
Additionally, the carrier’s polyurethane exterior remains cool in use and it has a vent cap which equalizes pressure to release steam.
Its “ergonomically” placed handles also allow for easy transport and it has a removable power cord which can be wrapped and secured when transporting it.
The interior features 12 evenly-spaced molded-in rail sets, to accommodate varying pan depths and maximize capacity.
The pan carrier can hold up to six 2 1/2″ deep full-size food pans and has the following exterior dimensions: 18 1/8″W x 26 3/8″D x 24 7/9″H.
In February, Catering Insight reported that the company expanded its distribution facility in California by 67% – by combining warehouse space which was formerly housed by a third party facility.
This move was to support continued development and release of new products and assembly operations of Cambro’s “ever-expanding” equipment line.
