Cambro has promised to give school foodservice professionals a ‘blast from the past’ at the upcoming School Nutrition Association’s Annual Nation Conference.
Tha manufacturer will be at Booth 1981 and has elected to embrace the 1980s with the themed Cambro Lunch Line Challenge – with the winner receiving $5,000 worth of Cambro products for their school.
Attendees in St. Louis and those at home can choose from three games: Breakfast in Which Classroom?, Flex Station Grab-N-Gooooo!, and Speedy Salad Bar. Upon completion, players will be able to enter to win the Grand Prize.
Cambro will also be featuring products to support the most popular trends in school foodservice right now: Breakfast in the Classroom and Grab-N-Go.
The company’s line of GoBags and GoBoxes to support keeping food at the ideal hot or cold temperature when transporting food into classroom, will be on display.
Also featuring will be Cambro’s Grab-N-Go solutions, the Flex Station and Versa Work Table, products which are mobile, easy to manoeuvre and support high volume operations.
Speaking about the products, Carolyn Barnes, Foodservice Director of Newberry County School District in South Carolina, said: “In the morning, three [Versa Work Tables – Ultra Series] are filled with different breakfast items and wheeled to separate halls. We are able to feed all the children in about 15 minutes.”
The School Nutrition Association’s Annual Nation Conference will take place from 14-16 July.
